This is the conceptual layout for Sidnie's Garden.

We built the central part of this design March 11, 2012 as a Sheet Mulch/Hugelkultur event of the Applewood Permaculture Institute.  20 participants built out the entire area in about 6 hours.  Here are some photos of the event.
